    The sad thing is that a lot of people, including Black people, judge each other in this way. This must have been a painful experience for the writer of the post.

    The best description of mixed that I’ve heard is in Kip Fulbeck’s book “Part Asian, 100% Hapa” where one of the men says “I’m 100% Black and 100% Japanese”.

    Another great description of mixed identity is Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu’s book title “When Half Is Whole”
