Susan Fales-Hill, the author of One Flight Up was on Mixed Chicks Chat
Fales-Hill’s parents fled to Italy to avoid opposition to  their mixed marriage. Susan was born and lived in Italy until she was two. After, she grew up in New York and graduated from Harvard with a degree in History and Literature.
